I am Michele Gutierrez. I got thrown into HR while working at a local nonprofit — no gentle onboarding, just straight into the deep end. I had to learn quickly, out of necessity. And I've since worked across both nonprofit and large and small business HR.

The Gap

I kept seeing organizations that needed real HR support but couldn’t justify a full-time hire. Small businesses and nonprofits were left without options—too big for nothing, too small for everything. So I started KindHR to fill that gap. Affordable, flexible, and built for teams that care as much about their people as their mission.

A Decade of Experience

Nearly ten years in HR—recruiting, compliance, benefits, training. And I’m SHRM-CP certified, so I stay sharp and accountable.
